Deerewood Cottage is a charming self-contained three-bedroom two storey barn conversion sleeping up to six. It was converted in 2013 from farm buildings which stand in the grounds of the owners’ grade ll listed farmhouse.
The Cottage has been decorated to a high standard providing modern co-ordinated accommodation but within a traditional setting. The open plan living and dining areas are spacious with comfortable sofas, TV, dining table and chairs. One sofa converts into a metal frame sofa bed providing additional sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped with contemporary fitted cupboards, microwave, oven and hob.
The three bedrooms are located over two floors. On the first floor is a spacious double room with ensuite bathroom including a bath with shower over. This room also has a day bed so can accommodate up to three, and satellite TV. The other two bedrooms, one a single the other a double, are on the ground floor. The single room has an additional chair-bed to give the accommodation great flexibility. Opposite is a wetroom with shower, toilet and basin. Both bathrooms have ceramic floor tiles, modern low level suites and shaver points. The downstairs living accommodation allows level threshold access for wheelchair users and the less mobile. All bedrooms have wardrobes, drawers and bedside lights. The cottage is has gas central heating and is fully double glassed.
